Differences Between Normalized and Annealed 4130 Steel
AISI 4130 steel has a specialized chemical composition that gives it a unique set of properties. The steel has a carbon content between 0.28 and 0.33 percent, a chromium content between 0.8 and 1.1 percent, manganese content between 0.7 and 0.9 percent, molybdenum between 0.15 and 0.25 percent and a silicon content between 0.15 and 0.35 percent.
